Here you will find quick and easy ways to add a Mediterranean touch to your cooking whether for every day dinners or for that special occasion meal.

My recipes are aimed at people who are looking for interesting yet quick and easy dishes and many of them take as little as 45 minutes to prep and cook.  My approach to cooking also has some useful time saving tips.

Because of my multicultural background, my recipes  are influenced by the delicious aromatic flavors of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and North African cuisine with the occasional Persian and Asian dish for variety. Most recipes do not involve frying, use olive oil instead of butter and conform to the Mediterranean Diet that is based on a balanced and wholesome approach to nourishment. I also use salt sparingly so please make adjustments to suite your own taste.

In many recipe posts, I have interwoven stories of growing up in Cairo, how my Greek grandmother influenced my cooking and how my travels throughout European, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries over the past twenty five years, have broadened my understanding of their culture through food and its traditions.

Finally, I know that coming up with quick and interesting meals for two is often challenging so most of the recipes are designed for two portions. If you are planning for more guests, I have found that multiplying is easier than dividing ingredients.
